Las Vegas Chapter

In November 2020, during the global pandemic, twelve ladies came together on a zoom call and the Las Vegas Interest Group for Les Gemmes, Incorporated was formed.  The group was led by Dr. Alzenia Walls and sponsored by the Nashville Chapter, Nashville, Tennessee.

The Charter members were: Dr. Alzenia Walls, Brianne McElroy, Ursalynne Richardson, Vivian Fully, Rita Martin, Christine McCauley, Eieshia Smith, Erin Woods, Linda Jackson, Nukinda Beets Hill and Tara Jacquet.  These ladies committed to the development of the first west coast chapter of Les Gemmes, Incorporated.  The chapter was charted on April 23, 2021.

The Las Vegas chapter of Les Gemmes, Incorporated is committed to carrying out the mission of our National Office through the following programs of focus:

1. • Youth Mentoring and Tutoring
   • Healthy Lifestyles
   • Support for Seniors
   • Literary Arts
   • Domestic Violence Awareness
   • Economic Assistance

Our signature program, Lighting the Path for Youth, focuses on the social and academic development of girls ages 11-18.  The program also awards scholarships to college bound seniors.

Our chapter currently has 11 active members.
