Chapter President’s Message

Greetings from the Tar River Chapter

The Tar River Chapter was inducted in 2006, sponsored by the Oxford Chapter. I am honored to serve as President of this amazing group of Gemmes!  We strive to fulfill our responsibilities as community servants by providing uplifting activities and participating in as many projects as we can.  We dedicate ourselves to upholding the standards of Les Gemmes, Inc.   We have provided opportunities for girls, provided scholarships, assisted the homeless and elderly, and combined with other organizations to enrich the educational and cultural environment for young people and adults. My vision is that the Tar River Chapter will continue to increase our membership so that we will have more hands to complete the work that we do.  I am inspired by the dedicated and hardworking women that I serve.  We give back because we are blessed.
